Kitchen Renovation – Stone selection
Both engineered and natural stone is typically supplied and sold as a slab of stone, usually leaving a % of the slab as offcuts that are not utilized. During the design & quoting stages of your project, ensure you ask your stone supplier what the slab size (dimensions) of your selected stone is and what potential off-cut sizes (dimensions) maybe available. KEEDAH have saved their clients thousands of dollars in the past and or have made use of left over pieces of stone from the slab and re-used them for downturns on island benches, splashbacks, bathroom vanities and even cheese platters. KEEDAH highly recommend utilizing as much of the slab as possible to minimize waste & maximize value from the cost of the stone.
